5K Turkey Trot on Sunday
Posted 11/12/2009
The Student Government Association is hosting a 5K Turkey Trot on Sunday, Nov. 15.
The Turkey Trot is a 3.1-mile run around campus to benefit a local food bank. It will begin on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. at the main entrance of the Sports Center.
Registration is $5 OR two or more canned goods (all proceeds will be donated to a local food bank).
Those who are interested can register in the SGA office, GSU 120, right across from the Hawk Hangout. Those who pre-register will be guaranteed a T-shirt on the day of the race.
If you plan to register on the morning of the event, you should arrive before 9:30, as registrations must be completed by 10 a.m.
This event is open to the entire University community; faculty and staff are encouraged to participate!
Come out and support a local charity, and have a great time while doing it!
