Men’s Basketball Social to Feature Oscar Robertson

National Basketball Association Hall of Famer Oscar Robertson will be the guest speaker at the University of Hartford Men's Basketball Tip-Off Social on Saturday, Oct. 8. The event will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. at Room 960 (in the old G. Fox Building) in downtown Hartford.

The social format will allow members of the men's basketball team, along with Robertson, to mingle with those in attendance. Hors d'oeuvres will be served throughout the night, and a cash bar will be available.

Everyone in attendance will receive a photo with Robertson, courtesy of Comcast. There will also be a wide variety of items for the live auction, including tickets to attend a Boston Celtics game with NBA Hall of Famer K.C. Jones, signed sports memorabilia, golf packages, and certificates for fine dining.
