Zina Davis on 'Faith Middleton Show,' Larry Gould on WTIC

Zina Davis, director of the Joseloff Gallery, was a guest on The Faith Middleton Show on WNPR Radio (90.5 FM) on Monday, Dec. 14, at 3 p.m. (and rebroadcast at 7 p.m.). Davis talked about the Joseloff Gallery's current exhibition, "Enchantment," which she curated. "Enchantment," the sixth International Distinguished Artists Exhibition, features works by late 19th-century masters, including Antoine-Louis Barye, Adolphe-William Bouguereau, Albert-Ernest Carrier-Belleuse, Gustave Doré, Howard Pyle, and N.C. Wyeth. Works from contemporary artists, including James Gurney (illustrator of the "Dinotopia" book series), Bo Bartlett, Walton Ford, Julie Heffernan, Graydon Parrish, Patricia Watwood, and Kehinde Wiley, are also featured. The exhibit will be on display through Jan. 17.
Larry Gould, professor of physics in the College of Arts and Sciences, was a guest on WTIC radio's (1080 AM) "Mornings with Ray Dunaway" on Monday, Dec. 14, at 8:20 a.m. Gould discussed his research on climate change. Gould argues that humans are not causing global warming. Listen to Gould's interview on WTIC.
The University's World AIDS Day observance was covered on Fox 61, WTNH and NBC Connecticut on Dec. 1. Fox 61 reporter Jennifer Lahmers was live on campus during the station's early morning newscast. The other two stations' reports aired during the evening newscasts.
Fox 61 and NBC Connecticut also covered the Center for Community Service's annual preschool holiday party on Dec. 3.
