Nancy Andersen Performance Airs on WTXX and WCTX

Nancy Andersen, chair of The Hartt Community Division vocal studies department, was featured on WTXX-TV and WCTX-TV on Saturday, Dec. 19, performing Dave Brubeck's Magnificat. The performance took place on Dec. 13 during "An Evening with Dave Brubeck" in Wethersfield, Conn. The concert featured legendary jazz artist and composer Dave Brubeck and his quartet, along with his Mariachi Orchestra.
Gabrielle Collins and Kathryn Manger, students at The Hartt Community Division, were profiled in the December issue of West Hartford Life. Collins and Manger are dancers in the Community Division's production of the "Nutcracker Suite," which begins Dec. 18. Read the story on mywesthartfordlife.com.
David Bell, associate dean of The Hartt School, was the subject of a Hartford Courant story on Dec. 14. Bell has been appointed to manage the Simsbury Performing Arts Center.
