Janet Pickard Kremenitzer, assistant professor of education and coordinator of elementary education, ENHP, was invited to join the Yale Edward Zigler Center in Child Development and Social Policy as a scholarly faculty resource. The Zigler Center is a nationally acclaimed "think tank" that translates child development into appropriate social policy.

Kremenitzer's expertise in “emotional intelligence” and its application to the school setting was recently recognized by the Zigler Center as she participated in a Connecticut Network (CT-N) televised presentation relating to the No Child Left Behind legislation.

Ron LaComb, operations and budget administrator at the Barney School of Business, was recognized with the school’s “Above and Beyond” award for designing, coordinating, and implementing an enhanced version of Barney’s graduate level "No Hassle" program that combines the best of high technology and high touch features.
