Hawks to be Featured on Golf Channel

The University of Hartford and its men’s and women’s golf programs will be featured on an episode of the Golf Channel’s "College Central" on Thursday and Friday.
The show, a weekly look at the collegiate golf scene, is hosted by the Golf Channel’s Jennifer Mills and Steve Burkowski. The episode that showcases the Hawks will first run on Thursday, Oct. 13, at 10:30 p.m. The episode will be repeated three times on Friday, Oct. 14, at 4 a.m., 8:30 a.m., and 12 p.m.
The segment, shot in early September, features seniors Jim Reed and Kerry Hassell. The two golf team members gave the cameras a tour of campus, including stops at the home courses for both the men’s (Gillette Ridge Golf Club) and women’s (Wampanoag Country Club) teams.
