Mark Turpin, associate professor of mathematics in the College of Arts and Sciences, has been invited to teach fractal geometry at Yale University during the Spring 2005 term.
The course, which Turpin also taught last spring, was created by Benoit Mandelbrot, a pioneer in the area of fractals and chaos.
