RHA Elections – Do You Want Your Voice to be Heard?
Do you want YOUR voice to be heard?
Then join the Residence Hall Association (RHA) Executive Board!
The Residence Hall Association (RHA) is responsible for programming that develops our campus environment and community connectedness. We are also responsible for advocating for resident students to bring about positive changes in the living situations at the University of Hartford.
The Residence Hall Association at the University of Hartford is our branch of the largest student-run organization in the world. RHA brings you programs like K.I.S.S Week's "Sex in the Dark" and "Sex in Konover," Friday Night Bingo, the Spring Fling Comedy Show, and "Peanut Butter and...," as well as sponsoring many organizations in their programming around campus.
Aside from programming, RHA is the resident student's voice in the residence halls. We are currently in the process of opening a brand new programming space in Park River and have put in grant proposals to bring advertising areas for residents to the halls as well as updating some of the places you live over the summer. Our next venture is laundry rooms! In addition to all of this, members of the Residence Hall Association are offered all-expense paid conferencing trips to learn about leadership development, programming, and student advocacy. Our next trip is a week-long stay in San Diego, Calif. We are looking for:
-Executive Vice President
-Vice President for Advocacy
-Vice President of Administration
-National Communications Coordinator
If you want to HAVE A MAJOR VOICE in deciding campus-wide programming and improving residence hall conditions, e-mail RHA@hartford.edu for more information on Executive Board positions.
RHA offers you an extensive budget and solid support system that will help you find success. Come see why RHA is becoming one of the best organizations on campus!
