The 2005 Hot Stove Dinner, featuring Boston Red Sox great Rico Petrocelli, has been rescheduled for Sunday, Feb. 27, at Gengras Student Union. The dinner originally had been scheduled for Jan. 22, but was postponed due to last weekend's blizzard.

The event, which raises funds for the university's baseball program, will begin with a cocktail reception at 5 p.m. followed by dinner at 6 p.m. The cost to attend is $100 per person and tickets are still available.

The Hot Stove Dinner is an annual event at the university, where past guests have included Houston Astros first baseman and University of Hartford baseball alumnus Jeff Bagwell as well as Major League managers Tommy Lasorda and Bobby Valentine.
