The opening of "A Couple of Ways of Doing Something" exhibition, featuring the works of artist Chuck Close, at the University's Joseloff Gallery was highlighted in a number of media outlets, from National Public Radio to the Hartford Advocate. The April 15 issue of the Hartford Courant previewed a talk that three former Hamilton Sunstrand engineers would be giving to University High School of Science and Engineering students about the dramatic efforts to rescue the astronauts of the troubled Apollo 13 mission. The talk, which marks the 40th anniversary of this event, was presented in part by the CT Space Grant Consortium, which is based at the University of Hartford. Read the story on courant.com.

The news that the University of Hartford's Greenberg Center for Judaic Studies had named Sara Houghteling as the winner of the Wallant Award for best Jewish-themed book by a new author was the lead item in the Hartford Courant's "Write Stuff" column on April 15.
