John Gallagher, who recently was hired as head coach of the men’s basketball team, was profiled on ESPN.com on July 9. He told reporter Dana O’Neil, "It was crazy. Michael Crosbie, chair of the Architecture Department in the College of Engineering, Technology, and Architecture (CETA), wrote an article for the July 4 "Commentary" section of the Hartford Courant about the well-known Ocean House at Watch Hill, R.I. Carl Vogel, Jr., a recent graduate of the College of Engineering, Technology, and Architecture, was profiled in The Medford Sun, a newspaper in New Jersey. Vogel received the Regent’s Honor Award from CETA Dean Lou Manzione in the spring. He now has a job in the acoustical engineering department of General Dynamic’s Electric Boat (submarine) Division.
