Diana J. LaRocco, assistant professor in the Department of Educational Leadership, ENHP, will be giving an invited presentation at a statewide conference on Saturday, Nov. 5, at Eastern Connecticut State University. Her presentation is titled “Early Childhood Advocacy: Practical Advice When Starting Out.”
The theme of the conference, which is being sponsored by the Connecticut Department of Education, the Capitol Region Education Council (CREC), and the Connecticut Council for Exceptional Children, is “From Research to Practice: Meeting the Instructional Requirements of NCLB (No Child Left Behind) for Evidence-based Practices.”
