Women’s Basketball Championship Ceremony

The women’s basketball team’s 2005 America East championship banner will be unveiled on Sunday, Nov. 20, just before the Hawks play their first regular home game of the season.

The Hartford women will take on Loyola (Md.) at 2 p.m. at the Chase Arena in the Reich Family Pavilion, Sports Center. Be sure to arrive early for the pre-game ceremony honoring the Hawks, the 2005 America East women’s basketball champions! The ceremony will include the unveiling of the championship banner.

As part of the celebration, the first 200 people to arrive at the game will receive a special Hartford Hawks giveaway. There will also be a post-game autograph session featuring members of the women's basketball team.

All regular season home athletic events are free to University of Hartford students. This game will also be the first Game of the Month for students. All University of Hartford students are invited to attend a pre-game party with food and music. The party will begin at 12:30 p.m. in the intramural gym of the Reich Family Pavilion. University of Hartford students will also have the chance to win great raffle prizes. The Game of the Month is brought to you by SGA, KAT, Greek Life, Office of Student Affairs and the Athletics Department.
