Sports Bar to Host Hawks Fans During UConn Game

Get together with other Hartford fans and cheer for the Hawks on Thursday, Dec. 1, as the women’s basketball team takes on the University of Connecticut Huskies.
Hartford will play UConn, the # 8 team in the country, at 7 p.m. in the Hartford Civic Center. It is a home game for UConn, and thus tickets for Hawks fans will be limited and in less than optimal viewing locations.
The best place for Hartford fans to watch the game will be at Coach’s Sports Bar & Grille, 187 Allyn St., in downtown Hartford. Seating will be reserved for Hartford fans at Coach’s beginning at 7 p.m., and the TVs will be set for the Hartford-UConn game.
Later in the evening, the University of Hartford team and coaching staff will join fans at Coach’s for a post-game celebration. This will be the best place to cheer for the Hawks and mingle with Hartford fans!
For those staying at home, the game will be televised live by Connecticut Public Television. Of course, you can turn down the volume on the TV and listen live to Hawks' radio coverage on WWUH 91.3 FM.
