Do you play a wind, brass, or percussion instrument?

Did you in the past?

Have you heard of the New Horizons Band?

The New Horizons Band, part of the Hartt Community Division, is a wind ensemble for adults ages 50 and over who have some experience on an instrument and would like to play in a group and socialize with others.

The ensemble is directed by Bill Sand, a retired and well-known music educator and horn player in the state who is committed to community programs for adults and music education in general. Those who participate in the New Horizons Band say they have a wonderful time together and enjoy great music-making.

The Community Division is offering a one-time discount for the Spring 2005 semester of 10 percent off tuition for this ensemble for those adults who have a child or grandchild attending the Hartt Community Division.
