Harrison Issues Strategic Plan Update

President Walter Harrison issued an update this week on the university's progress toward achieving the goals of the Strategic Plan.
With a number of key initiatives either completed or well underway, the university is ready to enter a new phase of the plan, with the overall goal of enhancing academic quality.
"We enter a very competitive decade in which an institution's academic quality – both real and perceived – is critical to that institution's continued vitality and success," Harrison wrote in a Jan. 31 Strategic Plan update.
