Thank you for your support!

  • Your participation matters because . . .
    • Every gift makes a difference. Alumni participation is one of the things that ranking organizations such as U.S. News and World Report use to rank colleges and universities. Your participation increases the University's participation rate, which increases the way the University is ranked, making your degree more valuable to prospective employers.
    • Some corporations and foundations request constituent participation rates before making decisions on granting opportunities.
    • It's a great way to stay in touch. Every mail appeal shows what information we have for you in our database. If anything changes, it gives you the opportunity to update that information. Up-to-date information allows us to send you invitations to alumni, career services, athletics, and donor appreciation events.
    • More than 7,000 full- and part-time students count on unrestricted scholarships to allow them to focus on their academics instead of worrying about multiple part-time jobs to help pay their way.
    • Faculty, staff, and students rely on the University's fundraising efforts to expand their education and provide meaningful, real-world experiences that would not be possible through a standard operating budget.
  • Why should you keep in touch? Up-to-date information allows us to send you invitations to alumni events. If you have moved somewhere new, you can see when we will be in the area and you can meet other local University alumni. The Career Services Center is a lifelong benefit of being an alumnus/alumna of the University. Through its programs you can search for great young talent, do employment searching for yourself, or act as a mentor to a current student. Our athletic programs are becoming bigger and better every year. We welcome your return to campus to see a game or sporting event.
