Senior Giving
Philanthropy: The effort or inclination to increase the well-being of humankind, as by charitable aid or donations.
"There is only one reason why I signed up for Senior Signature. Senior Signature sealed the chapter of my (undergraduate) college career and freed me to embrace the next chapter of my life."
"Senior Signature is a great way to leave the University. Putting my name on the plaque made me realize that I have accomplished something big."
"I heard about Senior Signature when I was a sophomore and I couldn't wait to sign up."
What is Senior Signature? Our purpose: The purpose of the Senior Signature program is to make seniors aware of the value of financial support to the University. Tuition alone does not cover the entire cost of a student's education, the rest has been provided in part by the generosity of those alumni that have graduated before you.
Our goal: The goal for Senior Signature was to get 300 members of the Class of 2009 to participate and you did it. Great job!
The rewards: The true reward of your gift to the University is to help ensure the value of your own degree and the future of the University of Hartford. In addition, your name will be permanently engraved on the Class of 2009 plaque.
Why do we want student support? The Anchor Fund is supported by students, alumni, parents, and friends. Each year, donors provide more than $13 million to support your education that's nearly $2,000 per student and keeps tuition and fees lower than they would otherwise be. It is important that students learn about the generations of alumni who have contributed financially to their education and experiences at the University of Hartford.
