Calling all classmates If you would like to help the University raise money, we can get you started. You can choose either to make calls or to send letters to your classmates.

If you choose to make phone calls, there is a brief training of what we typically say and the demographic inquiries we have. You can request to focus on your specific class or you can call multiple class years around yours. We will give you a list with the names and phone numbers of your classmates and a simple form to update information and record pledges.

To send peer-to-peer letters, we supply all of the materials you need. You can select your own peer recipients or we can send to the entire class. We help you write and edit the letter, depending on your needs.

If you are interested in volunteering but cannot participate in any activities at this time, please e-mail us at keyo@hartford.edu so that we may contact you about future opportunities.

Thank-a-thon
Goals
We have raised
10% of our anticipated goal from
1,012 alumni, parents, friends, faculty, staff, and students.

Thank you for your support!

Our next Thank-a-thon will be on Thursday, March 18, 2010.

"The calling is easy. The numbers are given to you. You can also request the numbers of people who were on campus the same years you were. If you don't reach a person, you can leave a message on the answering machine so the thank-you still gets through. It was also good to see several other alums and chat with them."

Thanking our donors is one of the most important things we do. Once each semester we like to host a Thank-a-thon. There is no solicitation. We just call as many people as possible to say thank you. Our next Thank-a-thon will be on Thursday, March 18, 2010. To come, please contact Kristen Sadowski, sadowski@hartford.edu.

Tell us what you think! The Anchor Fund office is inviting alumni to share their thoughts and ideas. We want to evaluate our program and to get your suggestions and advice on how our efforts can be more effective in the future. Our goal is to learn what programs and types of things are of interest to you. No one knows what you want to see and do better than you! You are always welcome to share your thoughts, ideas, or concerns by calling or e-mailing Jennifer Keyo at 860.768.2417 or keyo@hartford.edu.
