The following internal forms are required to submit a proposal for funding:
- University Checklist (doc)
submitted to IPSR with all proposals. This is required for all proposals, whether the funding source is public or private. - Public Funding Budget Template
Submit to IPSR with all public proposals. This required form is for internal accounting and is in addition to any formats required by the funder. However, you may also send a budget in this format to the funder if they do not have a specified format. Contact IPSR for assistance in using this template. This is required for all public proposals. - Private Funding Corporate Foundation Budget Template
Submit to IPSR with all private proposals. This required form is for internal accounting and is in addition to any formats required by the funder. However, you may also send a budget in this format to the funder if they do not have a specified format. Contact IPSR for assistance in using this template. This is required for all private proposals. - Matching Funds Monitoring Template (xls)
required only if your proposal includes a cost share or a matching requirement. - Conflict of Interest Form (doc)
required for all proposals.

It is the Principal Investigator's responsibility to meet all funder reporting requirements. Federal grants often require more frequent reporting than private grants but individual funders and types of awards vary so please review award documents carefully to be aware of report due and their deadlines. Compliance with funder requirements is necessary. Prior to the reporting deadline, send all reports (progress, annual, final) to IPSR for review. - Indirect Cost Rates
indirect costs refer to those costs that are not directly attributable to program activities. The university has established rates for public and private grants. - Benefit Rates
university benefit rates are established by Financial Accounting. - Course Release Policy
faculty members may request release from their teaching responsibilities in order to conduct program work. - Definitions
