Initial Gift Minimum Criteria for Named Endowment Funds
The minimum funding amount currently required to establish and activate a named endowed fund at the University of Hartford is $10,000.

Due to economic factors and the potentially long horizons for some deferred gifts, there is a likelihood that this minimum, or even the intended purpose for a gift, may have changed by the time the proceeds are actually distributed to or received by the University of Hartford. A suggested strategy is to fully endow your fund at the current minimum with sufficient assets to ensure that the proposed deferred gift will supplement your existing fund, rather than risk falling short of the minimum in effect at the time of realization.
