About Our Gift Calculator
In May of 1997, a generous donor made a gift of $25,000 to create and endow a general scholarship fund in his own name. In its first fiscal year (FY '98), this fund provided approximately $1,000 for the scholarship program.

By June 30, 2005, the end of that fiscal year, the fund had grown to a fair market value of $32,251 and had generated $1,051 for FY '05 scholarships.

Although the caveat still applies--- past performance does not necessarily guarantee future investment results--- your endowed gift will generate tax-free revenue for The University of Hartford in perpetuity.

For more information about how to plan a gift that will create a named endowment fund, please contact our director of Planned Giving.
