The Anchor Fund

The Anchor FundOur goal is to raise $755,000 for the Anchor Fund. We can’t do it without you.

The Anchor Fund allows the University of Hartford to offer scholarships, guest speakers, and opportunities in the field.

Scholarships: For so many, this is where the story begins. We offer the most competitive financial aid packages we can to show students that we believe in them. When students know someone believes in them, they begin to believe in themselves. When that happens, there is no limit to what they can do.
Quick Fact: 92% of the undergraduate student body receives financial aid.

Student Instruction: With seven schools and colleges and 84 majors, our students have lots of academic areas to explore to discover their passion. Our faculty also provides professional opportunities and real-world experiences. Students can present at a professional conference, co-author or research for a book with a faculty mentor, or learn in the field as early as their first year. These experiences, combined with their education, strengthen their talents and build their résumés.
Quick Fact:  Our student/faculty ratio is 12:1

Student Life: Some of our most memorable lessons take place outside of the classroom. Our students meet interesting people such as entrepreneur Ido Loefler, ballerina Misty Copeland, and students who hail from 48 states and 63 different countries. They participate in mock interviews, professional seminars, and career fairs. They also work to improve the community each spring with Hawks Helping Hartford and Alternative Spring Break.
Quick Fact: There are more than 100 clubs and organizations students can join.

Students learn so much here—about themselves, their major, other people, and the world. With your support, they and many more students will realize there are no limits to how far they can go.
