What is the Student Success Center?

In your years here at the University of Hartford,

• You will have questions - we have answers.

• You will face challenges - we offer advice.

• You will need help - we know where to find it.

The Student Success Center (SSC) is located in the rear of B-Complex next to Alumni Plaza and the Commons eating area. While we help all students, we spend extra time offering support to freshmen so that the transition from high school and home to the University of Hartford will be a successful one.

Some of our benefits and services include the following:

• Arrangement of a free tutor so that you can be academically successful

• Assistance with time management to help reduce anxiety

• Guidance about what club to join to be socially involved

• Exploration of how to choose a major

• Assisting with personal problems

• Schedule regular weekly meetings to check in and see how things are going

Being involved, receiving support, and completing your work = a successful 4 years at the University of Hartford. We are here to help you achieve your college goals and earn a degree.
