Beyond 2025: Strategic Action Planning
Complete this brief survey as part of our strategic planning process.
This fall, the University of Hartford is launching a university-wide effort to develop and document a new strategic action plan.
Through an inclusive, transparent, and mission-driven process, we will reimagine a bold, innovative, and ambitious future. This collective work isn't about abandoning our core values—it's about expanding and reimagining our vision of what's possible when those values meet innovation, intention, and unwavering commitment to student success.
At a time when higher education faces unprecedented challenges and students demand more than just a degree, UHart stands as a beacon of intentional transformation—a place where passion meets purpose and potential becomes achievement. At UHart, our students aren’t just educated—they’re cultivated. They’re empowered to do more than discover what they want to do, but instead, discover who they’re meant to become.
Embracing What's Next
Even as we celebrate our strengths and the momentum they've created, we recognize that standing still in today's rapidly evolving world will mean falling behind. The very excellence that has defined the University of Hartford must continue to be reimagined—not because what we've built isn't working, but because our students, our community, and our world demand even more.
True leadership in higher education requires the courage to turn our assumptions on their side, to examine our successes through fresh eyes, and to ask not just "what have we done well?" but "what could we do extraordinarily?" This is our collective challenge: to thoughtfully invest in the foundations that continue to serve us, honestly assess what no longer aligns with our highest aspirations, and then boldly embrace the new thinking and possibilities that will propel us toward an even more impactful future.
Survey and Ideation Sprints
To start, we are asking every member of our community to participate in this important strategic action planning initiative.
One way to contribute is through this brief 3 to 5-minute survey. Your responses are anonymous. The survey will be available until October 31, but feedback will be continuously reviewed as it comes in. On-campus and in-person “Ideation Sprints” will be offered in October, with additional information forthcoming.
Thank you for being part of these critical conversations.
