STORM UPDATES, INFORMATION, AND RESOURCES

Campus Shuttle

The University of Hartford offers shuttle services both on and off campus for the convenience of students, the entire UHart community, and guests.

Campus shuttles will not operate on days that the University is closed due to severe weather. On-campus shuttle service will begin at the time the University opens. If the University closes early, a final off-campus route with all stops will leave Millard Circle 15 minutes after the official closing time. On-campus shuttle service will end with the circuit of campus that immediately follows the official closing time.

Hawk Line

The University recently enhanced its on-campus shuttle service with a redesigned route called the Hawk Line.

The Hawk Line will:
  • Incorporate HPAC stops from the former Red, Green, and Yellow Lines
  • Increase the frequency of stops and reduce wait times to HPAC
  • Operate as a continuous campus loop with primary stops at Millard, Konover, Commons, and HPAC.

Students riding the Hawk Line may request to be dropped off at designated locations across campus, which will be clearly marked with a red “H.”

Because of limited parking near residential areas, community members who park across campus or travel later in the evening may now be picked up by the shuttle at the entrances of designated parking lots, improving access, convenience, and safety.

The Hawk Line will operate continuously from 7:40 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Weekend Blue Line (Shopping Shuttle)

The University is collaborating with our community partners at St. Joseph University to enhance weekend transportation options. As part of this collaboration, the weekend Blue Line Shuttle will now include an additional stop on the St. Joe’s campus.

The Weekend Blue Line will continue to operate on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 7:30 p.m., with stops at students’ favorite shopping and dining destinations, including:

  • Bishops Corner (Marshalls & Target)
  • Blue Back Square
  • Westfarms Mall
