Campus Shuttle

The University of Hartford offers shuttle services both on and off campus for the convenience of students, the entire UHart community, and guests. Shuttle service for the 2020–21 academic year consists of three lines:

Green Line

Shuttle service from campus to the Handel Performing Arts Center seven days a week with weekday service to University High School of Science and Engineering. Some routes stop at Clemens Place and the Asylum Avenue campus.

Yellow Line

Late day and evening shuttle service Monday through Friday between 3:30–11 p.m. offering both on-campus routes and serving the Handel Performing Arts Center, Clemens Place, and the Asylum Avenue campus.

Shopping Shuttle

Operating weekends with stops at Blue Back Square, Bishop's Corner, and Westfarms Mall.

Rec Shuttle

Hop on our shuttle and enjoy a pinic with friends at Elizabeth Park, take a walk on the paths at the MDC West Hartford Reservoir, or hike all the way to Heublein tower at Talcott Mountain. The shuttle will leave outside of Commons. Grab a free box lunch at the Commons prior to leaving! See the full schedule. (Shuttle runs throughout the day.)

On Sept. 19, we are also offering a shuttle to a local apple orchard, so you can go apple picking.

What happens when the University closes or opens late?

Campus shuttles will not operate on days that the University is closed due to severe weather. If the University opens late, the off-campus shuttle route will begin at Clemens Place with a special pickup 25 minutes before the announced opening time. On-campus shuttle service will begin at the time the University opens. If the University closes early, a final off-campus route with all stops will leave Millard Circle 15 minutes after the  official closing time. On-campus shuttle service will end with the circuit of campus that immediately follows the official closing time.
