If you have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college and are looking to make a career change or sharpen your computing skills, you can gain a solid background in computer science through our Certificate in Computer Science program. You can even enroll on a part-time basis.

Certificate Program Requirements

Certificate in Computer Science

The Computer Science certificate is a total of 20 credits of undergraduate computer science course work that must be completed at the University of Hartford. Students must maintain a 2.0 or better GPA. The Certificate includes a minimum of three upper-level courses. Core courses include:

  • Fundamentals of Computing I and II
  • Data Structures
