Xin Ye, Ph.D., CSCS, *D, ACSM-CEP. Dr. Ye completed the doctoral training in Exercise Physiology from the University of Oklahoma. Prior to the University of Hartford, Xin served as a tenure-track assistant professor at the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) for 4 years, primarily teaching undergraduate and graduate level Motor Control, Neural Control of Human Movement, and Applied Electromyography. Dr. Ye’s primary research interests include using noninvasive techniques to examine human neuromuscular functions, motor unit firing properties, and motor control strategies under different exercise and therapeutic interventions. He has published over 50 peer-reviewed journal articles, and he has been serving as journal reviewer for more than 35 scientific journals. Dr. Ye is an active member of American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and International Society of Electromyography and Kinesiology (ISEK).
