Leslie Johnson is an instructor of English. She teaches Introduction to Composition, Introduction to Literary Analysis, Survey of American Literature, and Advanced Composition.
"I love the opportunity to work closely with students, tap into their unique interests, and help them explore their passions and ideas in writing," says Johnson. "I see tremendous growth in Hillyer students from the beginning of their freshman year through the end of their sophomore year, and it’s invigorating and rewarding to contribute to that journey.
Johnson's research interests include:
- Modern and contemporary fiction
Literary fiction in journals including Glimmer Train, Colorado Review, Third Coast, Cimarron Review, Threepenny Review, and many others.
