Davin Allen is a first-generation student from Illinois who found his passion for Higher Education when he first began as a Resident Assistant at North Central College in 2018. In his time at North Central he served in the Athletics Facilities as a Building supervisor, Graduate Assistant for First-Generation Programs, and an Area Hall Director for a First-Year and Upperclassmen area.
Davin transitioned to the community college space at Waubonsee Community College in Sugar Grove, IL as a Student Life Coordinator. Davin provided programs across their four campuses including Blacklight Bowling, Flag football, Engagement Fairs, and Blood Drives. As well as facilitate a 9-week leadership development program focusing on addressing global issues.
In January of 2024, Davin made the transition to University of Hartford, with the aspiration to continue to grow towards his pursuit of being a dean. Davin hopes to continue to inspire and role model for students of all backgrounds!
