MSOP Student Katie Linehan Publishes First Paper
Master of Organizational Psychology Student Katie Linehan worked with Psychology Department Faculty Member Jessica Nicklin to call attention to the complexities of multiple role memberships for undergraduate students. While the literature is flooded with research on balance for traditional working adults, less is known about the challenges students face in their various roles (student, employee, caregiver, athlete, friend, sibling, club president etc.). Applying principles from work-family balance research, they made several recommendations for students and campus leaders to help students juggle it all in eSource for College Transitions by The National Resource Center for the First-Year Experience and Students in Transition.
