Ideas for 2023-24 Academic Assessment Reports

Are you assigned to work on a program’s academic assessment in 2023-24? Are you looking for ideas for how to complete your academic assessment report? Join us for a virtual conversation, where some faculty share suggestions with you about how to work on your report this year!

In this virtual conversation, faculty who submitted good quality reports in 2022-23 will share some of their experiences and their advice, related to the assessment process. We will talk about what should be included in the report, what is worth spending some extra time on, and what constitutes a high-quality academic assessment.

We are very excited to welcome the following panelists:

Noelle Scuderi, PhD is the Graduate Program Director for the Online Master of Science in Organizational Psychology program. As Director, she provides leadership in student recruitment, admissions, community engagement, and advising for the program, teaches graduate Intro to I-O Psychology and Capstone courses, and is responsible for curriculum planning, course scheduling, and program assessment.

Jonathan Daigle, PhD is an Associate Dean and Associate Professor of English at Hillyer College. He teaches first-year writing courses and courses on African American literature. His scholarship focuses primarily on conceptions of race and progress from the Civil War to World War I, but he has also co-edited a collection of Palestinian writer, Naji Dhaher’s fiction in translation. He has contributed to various Hillyer English department assessment projects over the years.

Leona Konieczny, PhD is a nurse educator with more than 35 years in academia. She has taught in undergraduate and graduate nursing programs. She holds certifications in Gerontologic Nursing from the ANCC, is a Certified Nurse Educator from the NLN, and is PMP credentialed. Dr. Konieczny has presented nationally and internationally. She is active in nursing organizations including Sigma membership and serves as the Chair of the Abstract Review Committee for the Connecticut Nursing Research Alliance. At the University of Hartford, Dr. Konieczny teaches in the MSN & DNP programs. She is Director of Graduate Studies in the Nursing Department.
