The Office of Sponsored Programs is pleased to announce Anne Berry has been promoted to Assistant Director, Post-Award Services within the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP).
This promotion will extend the scope of Anne’s responsibilities to include financial management and reporting for all external grant opportunities (including those initiated by OSP and the Development Office) as well as oversight of internal grant expenditures. These efforts include related accounting procedures, budget monitoring, compliance, and grant-related hiring. She will also help OSP and Financial Accounting Services (FAS) with efforts related to federal auditing, surveys, and reports.
Anne joined the University of Hartford in 2019 as OSP’s Research Support Manager before being promoted to Post Award Manager in 2021. Her skill and initiative to take on more post-award management within OSP has been a critical endeavor that has improved general oversight and clarity as well as ease of navigating post-award processes for faculty and staff.
Before joining the University of Hartford, Anne worked as a Grants Associate at Connecticut Public Broadcasting, Inc. She has obtained several continuing education certificates in proposal development (2018, 2021), and grant writing (2017, 2019). Anne is also a proud alumnus of the University of Hartford (DMA, 2012).
