Barney Continues Partnership with Junior Achievement

The Barney School of Business has continued their partnership with Junior Achievement, this time hosting the JA Career Connections for Young Women program. This 10-year-old, 10-session program is designed to inspire young women to pursue their professional goals and embrace financial responsibility.

Junior Achievement’s mission is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. They strive to provide young people with the knowledge, inspiration and tools they need to achieve success in life.

This past Wednesday, Feb. 21, a group of these young women were hosted by the Barney School of Business to tour campus, learn more about financial aid and admissions, and more. Current students from the Barney Leadership Council, Barney Ambassadors, and members of LEAD did a panel to answer questions and meet with the young women.

Barney students are committed to serving their community and stand behind their core values. Those students that attended JA in a Day demonstrated and lived those values.
