Over Spring Break, hartford.edu went through a partial design refresh. While this will not feel like a large design change to many users, it is a significant improvement to site functionality following the University's full relaunch in 2018.
The updates feature a modernization of the navigation, improvements to image sizing and optimization, and upgrades to academic program pages throughout each of the schools and colleges. Users will also see new video components on the main homepage and all seven school and college homepages highlighting new and in-demand programs. The academic program pages have had the largest overhaul, which includes a new "At a Glance" section and a scrolling navigation to improve the user experience.
With all site upgrades of significance, there can be glitches along the way. The University's web team and our partners are working diligently to finalize all edits and tweaks that need to be addressed this week.
