A blizzard warning is now in effect for our area. The University campus has closed as of 5 p.m. on Sunday evening, Feb. 22. This includes the Sports Center and Harrison Libraries. 

UHart will remain closed on Monday, Feb. 23. There will be no in-person classes held on Monday. Please note that when a campus closing prevents an in-person class from meeting at its scheduled time, faculty may opt to conduct classes or provide assignments online. Students should check Blackboard and their email regularly on such days to learn of any alternate arrangements. Online and remote courses are not affected by campus closings and meet as scheduled.

Call for 2025 Tonkin, Larsen, and Trachtenberg Awards Nominations

Attention all University of Hartford full-time faculty, collegiate deans, and department chairs: the Faculty Senate is calling for nominations for the 2025 Tonkin, Larsen, and Trachtenberg Awards. 

For more information, see the Call Letter and Guidelines with designated deadline dates. 

Nomination packets must be hand-delivered to the Faculty Senate Office, CC 314, or emailed as one PDF file to the Faculty Senate Office at facsenate@hartford.edu by 4 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 31, 2025.
