Announcing the Move to Banner Self-Service 9

Announcing the Move to Banner Self-Service 9

To better serve our students, faculty, and staff, Self-Service will be receiving a much-needed upgrade this summer. The University will be fully moving to Self-Service Banner 9 (SSB9). This update replaces Self-Service Banner 8, which is being discontinued by the vendor. SSB9 provides an easier, user-friendly interface for students, faculty, and staff to access personal, employment, academic, financial, and other information from the Banner database. This new interface brings a modern look that is fully compatible with mobile devices and offers simplified navigation.

How do I get there?

SSB9 can be launched from the MyUHart link on Hartford's home page. By clicking on the MyUHart menu at the top of the page, you will see the link that will launch MyUHart. Accessing SSB9 will require using your single sign on credentials and multifactor authentication.  Click here to learn more about using MyUHart.

Where is everything?

Accessing Self-Service 9 content is different from accessing it in Self-Service 8. Refer to the chart below to see which MyUHart cards correspond to the menu tabs in Self-Service 8.

Self-Service 8 Tab (or link) Use any of these cards in MyUHart to access the same information in Self-Service 9
Accessing SSB9 will still require using your single sign on credentials and multifactor authentication however, once you are in the site, you will have access to several resources all in one place.
