Call for Participants: the 2025 Distinguished Teaching Humanist Summer Workshop

Please see the attached call for the 2025 Distinguished Teaching Humanist Summer Workshop, which will be held on May 28–30, 2025!

The topic this year is “Teaching at a Round Table: Advanced Peer Review as a Foundation and a Catalyst for Student Learning.” This three-day workshop will be led by professor Stephanie Vanderslice, Director of the Arkansas Writers MFA Workshop at the University of Central Arkansas, and author of over half-dozen books on advanced peer-review pedagogy.

The workshop will meet at 10 a.m. each day and—with a break for lunch—finish at 2 p.m. Lunch will be provided.

Accepted participants will receive some materials to read in advance of the workshop and $500 upon its completion.

Full-time and part-time faculty are eligible to participate.
