The University of Hartford has been informed that Aetna and UConn Health are in negotiations with a potential network termination date of December 1, 2025.
The University is gathering information on the number of participants (employees and/or dependents) who have utilized UConn Health providers during the last 12 months. Aetna will be mailing impacted participants information relative to this potential termination as well as guidance around transition of care services.
If an agreement is reached after these notices have been mailed, retraction letters will be sent to all members who received the initial notification.
