In recognition of National Physical Therapy Month, our Doctor of Physical Therapy students came together to paint the campus anchor bright orange in celebration of the profession.
This year’s theme, “PT for Future Me,” highlights the vital role physical therapy plays in helping people of all ages and abilities move better and live healthier lives.
The Physical Therapy Student Association Executive Board kicked off the month by painting the anchor on Wednesday, Oct. 1. Following the tradition, students from each DPT class (2026, 2027, and 2028) joined faculty to sign the anchor—marking a spirited start to a month of awareness and appreciation for the profession.
