At this time, Aetna and UConn Health have been unable to come to an agreement. As of Monday, Dec. 1, 2025, UConn Health is out-of-network for Aetna medical insurance.
Emergency room services are always in-network and not impacted by these negotiations. Continuity of care applications are recommended for any individual currently in treatment for a serious illness, pregnancy or injury. Instructions for applying are in the link below. We’re still hopeful that they will come to an agreement and that UConn Health comes into network again.
