Join us for a book discussion on Quarter Acre of Heartache, by Claude Clayton Smith—with the author! The discussion will be held from 3 p.m.–4 p.m. in the Mortensen library (KF room) and virtually via Teams.
Quarter Acre of Heartache describes the life of Chief Big Eagle Aurelius Piper, of the Paugussett Golden Hill Nation of Connecticut, and recounts how the tribe survived a modern day legal challenge to their existence.
