The University of Hartford has received a three-year grant of $219,305 from the Davis Educational Foundation to launch an initiative called “Supporting Inclusive Course Design/Revision in General Education.”

The grant will enable UHart faculty to design or, in many cases, completely redesign course requirements to meet a modern, transformational, and innovative standard.

The grant was received from the Davis Educational Foundation established by Stanton and Elisabeth Davis after Mr. Davis’s retirement as chairman of Shaw’s Supermarkets, Inc.
