Join us for a day sponsored by Blackboard—offering a dedicated space to connect with colleagues across the University, exchange proven best practices, and collaborate on our most pressing instructional priorities. This retreat provides everything you need for a semester you’ll love, featuring a sweet look at the latest features and innovative pedagogical strategies designed to enhance your teaching.

Date: Friday, February 13, from 9 a.m.–3:30 p.m. 
Location: Harry Jack Gray Center (1877 Club)

  • Accessibility & Compliance: Learn to use Blackboard Ally to meet ADA standards and prepare for the April 2027 federal deadline.
  • AI & Pedagogy: Explore the Blackboard AI Design Assistant for course development or join a discussion on the role of AI in shaping modern instructional design.
  • Engagement & Innovation: Discover strategies for digital badging and gamification, or learn to use AI Conversation tools for student role-play scenarios.
