Classes of 2020 & 2021
Congratulations, graduates. We’re excited to celebrate the Classes of 2020 and 2021 at our in-person Commencement ceremonies this weekend at the XL Center in downtown Hartford!
Graduates and guests may arrive up to one hour prior to their ceremony start time. Graduates, please allow time to check in, get your regalia if needed, and be guided to your seats.
All guests and students will enter through the main entrance of the XL Center. Students will be guided to the student check-in area and guests will show their tickets and be guided to their seats. Graduating students do not need a ticket. There will be plenty of staff and signs to guide you.
More information regarding Commencement can be found on our FAQ page.

May 2021 Commencement Participants
Graduates have been allotted up to two tickets each for their guests. The tickets were emailed to each student directly from the XL Center to the address indicated on the response form—and are valid for the specified ceremony only. Please be sure to print or save your tickets somewhere they won’t be lost.
Due to logistical requirements in setting up our Commencement exercises to comply with current COVID-19 safety guidelines, we are, unfortunately, unable to accept any additional participants after May 7. We invite you to participate virtually as all five ceremonies during Commencement Weekend will be livestreamed. They will also be available for on-demand viewing throughout the summer.
Seniors who are currently studying remotely or who are not participating in the spring portrait sessions on campus may submit their photos using the Senior Portrait Submission Form. The deadline is June 1.
