Archives and Special Collections

As part of a phased reopening, the Archives’ physical collections are now open to current students, faculty, and staff by appointment. Appointments can be scheduled by contacting archives@hartford.edu. Visitors will be asked to follow additional rules and procedures to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19. These additional rules and procedures are subject to change and will be provided to visitors when arranging the appointment.

Digital collections are still available on MDID and CTDA. Contact archives@hartford.edu for assistance.

The University of Hartford Archives and Special Collections is a part of Harrison Libraries, and is responsible for preserving materials of historic value pertaining to the University and its community members for the benefit of students, staff, faculty, and other researchers.

Visiting Archives and Special Collections

Archives and Special Collections is open by appointment only. Patrons should review the University Archives and Special Collections Rules and Procedures before arriving. Access Our Digital Materials

Digital archival materials are available in our digital repository shared with the Hartford Art School (access to some collections may require a University email and password), as well as on the Connecticut Digital Archive.
