2021 | Erin Proctor
Erin Proctor '21 (Hartt), a playwright based in NYC, is having her first full-length piece 'Plague Play' published by 1319 Press this spring. 'Plague Play' premiered in Miami, Florida in 2023, and made its NYC premiere at IATI Theater. It will be available for licensing in Fall 2025.
2024 | Monique Daley
Monique Daley D'24 (ENHP) presented her theoretical framework, West Indian Critical Theory (WestIndianCrit), at the 5th Annual Caribbean Sociological Conference, in September, in the Grand Cayman Islands, hosted at the University College of the Cayman Islands (UCCI).
The theme for the conference was Mobilising Caribbean Sociologies: Bridging Theory, Method, and Fields of Sociology for Sustainable Caribbean Development. My presentation titled "Wi Deh Yah: West Indian Critical Theory: Advancing and Uplifting the Narrative" was a part of a panel on Decolonial Approaches, Epistemology, and Interdisciplinary Scholarship.
2025 | Joseph Lothamer
Joey Lothamer '25 (ENHP) recently published a children's book, Get Over It, about overcoming adversity. He is a record-holder in the pole vault at UHart and is completing a master's degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics.
