We offer programs for the following grade levels

Pre-k – Li’l Place – Li’l Place is a program for preschoolers who will be 4 years old by the end of the calendar year and who are fully potty trained. Social skills and interaction are emphasized through hands-on science and nature projects geared toward this youngest set of campers. Campers are introduced to literature, arts and crafts, music, and play through theme-related activities. Each day, campers participate in both indoor and outdoor activities. From morning circle time and show-and-tell to active time on the playscape and bike rides, the days are filled with challenge and fun!

Kindergarten – Kinderplace – Kinderplace mixes learning experiences for little ones with lots of camp fun, making it a very special program for children who will enter kindergarten in the fall. The curriculum emphasizes socialization and interaction through creative combinations of play and learning. Theme-related activities in art, literature, math, music, and science are balanced with circle time, stories, snacks, and outdoor play. All Kinderplace campers receive a daily swim lesson with Certified Lifeguards. Each week, campers will get to participate in an enriching field trip to fun places like the Children’s Museum or to the library for story hour. At Kinderplace, the days are filled with positive challenge and excitement!

1-9th grade – Summer Place – Learning and fun go hand-in-hand at Summer Place, where campers build their own schedules based on their interests. Campers choose from a variety of over 82 enrichment classes and over 20 recreational activities to build their perfect Summer Place days. First- through fourth-graders participate in two enrichment classes in the morning and three recreational activities in the afternoon. Fifth- through ninth-graders participate in three recreational activities in the morning and two enrichment courses in the afternoon. The entire camp gathers together for opening and closing activities and at lunch. There’s no place like Summer Place!

10-12th grade – SP Leaders in Training – At SPLIT, we learn by doing. Campers attend workshops on management and leadership skills, team building, and self-discovery. SPLIT campers also gain hands-on experience working with Summer Place, Li’l Place, and Kinderplace campers. Each of the SPLIT sessions runs for two weeks. Sessions are built around a different curriculum, and campers leave the program with a greater sense of responsibility and competency, a strong work ethic, and more confidence in their decision-making, leadership skills, and problem-solving abilities. SPLIT campers also get to take fun field trips to places like Hammonasset beach, Dave & Buster’s, and Collinsville Canoe for a memorable summer experience they won’t forget!
