Dr. Shreya Malhotra has broad research interests in family, labor, and behavioral economics. Using game theory, law and economics, and applied microeconomics, she investigates household bargaining, and the effects of legal reforms on domestic violence and labor market outcomes, while also exploring behavioral aspects of consumer choice including a current study leveraging natural language processing (NLP) to analyze the impact of product assortment on satisfaction in online retail. Her teaching portfolio encompasses economics, econometrics, business data analysis, managerial statistics, predictive analytics including machine learning.
