Nicholas Misenti is an Assistant Professor of Business Law and Director of the Master of Science in Accounting and Taxation program. He holds a BS in Accounting from CCSU Summa Cum Laude, and an MS in Accounting and Juris Doctor degrees from UCONN. Professor Misenti is an Attorney and CPA, Vice President of the North East Academy of Legal Studies in Business, and Editor in Chief of the Journal of Legal Studies in Business. Professor Misenti teaches business law, accounting, and taxation. His latest publication is “A Tax on Unrealized Capital Gains is Not a Wealth Tax - But That May Not Matter To The U.S. Supreme Court."
